The cherry insert may be removed and the tray may be used in a traditional way. The pewter tray is hand made in Italy of the highest quality pewter with 95% tin content. Pewter hallmarks are viewable. Hand wash and dry only. The cherry wood insert needs to have food grade butcher block oil applied periodically. Made in Italy.
