The platter is what makes this set special. It is hand made by the master pewtersmiths at Match Pewter. The pewter used to make the platter has a very high content of tin, which makes the platter glow warmly. The ceramic dishes are just the icing on the cake. This platter may be used as a platter without the dishes or with the dishes for an ultimately stylish crudite tray or relish tray. Of course it can also be used as the most regal chip and dip tray we have ever seen. All pieces are handmade in Italy.
