Vietri Forma Dinnerware

After years of research and experiments, Vietri presents its strongest stoneware pattern: Forma. Forma stoneware is made in the robust Veneto region of Italy, known for its ceramic and stoneware production. Not only is stoneware from Veneto less porous than other potteries, but Forma is fired in a special kiln that reaches the highest possible temperatures; this process creates incredible strength as well as some of the most beautiful, saturated glazes. When the pieces are fired, the glazes seem to melt onto the piece, creating an organic feel on each graceful shape.

Due to the hand-applied two-step glaze process, there will be subtle variations in shades and finish on each piece, which adds to the depth and beauty of your table setting or serving pieces. Vietri Forma stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven safe. Because stoneware is very dense and fired at such high temperatures, Vietri Forma casserole and baking dishes are safe to use in most ovens, up to 400 degrees Farenheit. It's best to place baking dishes in a room-temperature oven and then preheat, as the Italians do. When a dish has been removed from the freezer, please allow it to return to room temperature before putting it in the oven or microwave.
